Melbourne Turns On Her Best Spring Day Yet

But Don't Get Burned

Melbourne Turns On Her Best Spring Day Yet James Lake

If you stepped outside today and thought it was the middle of your summer holidays, you would be forgiven. Melbourne has turned on her best spring conditions to end the week.

The Bureau of Meteorology is promising a summer with a high of 25c, with some light afternoon winds blowing through the city.

The warm change will be welcomed by many. Everywhere you turn there's still someone with the winter sniffles.

The forecast for tomorrow is just as welcome, with another top of 25c on the cards, with the chance of a late afternoon thunderstorm before the Tigers face the Giants at the G.

Enjoy it while it lasts though, with mother nature will have a cheeky mood change by Sunday, bringing back rain and just 17C to kick start a cooler and damp week.

Once last night, if you are out and about in this sun, don't forget your sunscreen and hat. The UV levels for today and tomorrow will be moderate.
