A father has been bitten during a road rage incident in Epping, Melbourne.
The man was bitten on the neck and arm during a wrestle with the driver, who is understood to have caused multiple crashes.
The 35-year-old was behind the wheel of a white Mazda CX-7 that was heading north on High Street when it collided with a car near the intersection of Memorial Avenue before 9pm last night.
According to Nine News, the car then hit three other vehicles in less than 500 metres, before stopping and attempting to flee on foot.
The good samaritan father then held down the man until police arrived, and witnesses noted the bite marks he sustained.
Those injured in the incident included an early high school aged child with spinal injuries and a man in his 50s who is understood to have spent 30 minutes trapped inside his vehicle. He had broken glass lodged in the side of his face.
Police are currently investigating.
