House Prices In These Melbourne Suburbs Have Doubled In Five Years

Domain has revealed some of Melbourne’s fastest growing suburbs – with some doubling in price in just five years.

Blackburn South has recorded a 20 per cent increase in house prices in the past six month - and the median has risen by 97 per cent since 2012.

Notting Hill, a tiny suburb 18 kilometres south-east of the city, now has a median house price of $919,000, a staggering 93 per cent increase since 2012.

Sandringham, Forest Hill, Highett, Parkdale and Warrandyte have also made significant growth– recording median house price growth above 88 per cent over five years.
