For kids and kids at heart, Easter egg hunting can be one of the best activities of the long weekend – but it doesn’t have to be restricted to your backyard! Here are some of the best events to check out.
1. The Great Luna Park Easter Egg Hunt
Everyone is invited to the iconic theme park to find chocolate. Sessions will be split up for different age groups so everyone gets a go, and there will be Easter bunny acrobats and a holiday feature ride.

2. Melbourne Easter Show Egg Hunt
Children up to 12 years old are welcome to take part in a hunt where everyone receives a prize. There is also a special egg which can be exchanged for even more goodies.

3. Adventure Park’s Easter Egg Hunt
Adventure Park is already a day of fun, so with the addition of chocolate, everyone will be happy! There will be 15,000 eggs scattered across the park, with children under four offered their own space to search.

4. Easter Fun Day at Rippon Lea
Enjoy the lush gardens of this beautiful property while the family enjoys crafts and outdoor games. Kids up to 12 years old can enjoy an Easter egg hunt which will have them exploring their surroundings.

5. Easter Scramble at The Big Goose
This popular Mornington petting farm will open its doors to families across the Easter long weekend. There will be egg and spoon races, meet and greets with the Easter Bunny, pony rides and the opportunity to find the Golden Eggs with a prize reward.
