Chocolate fans, it’s finally your time to shine… World Chocolate Day is this Saturday the 7th of July!

There are so many cafés and restaurants who nail all things sweet, and here are a few to keep an eye out for. Go on, treat yourself. 

1. Palermo, CBD 

This Argentinian restaurant are serving up the Chocotorta (pictured); a chocolate, hazelnut & caramel mousse cake. Grab a spoon!

2. Fatto, CBD

Forget a savoury dinner, Chocolate and Strawberry Pizza is where it’s at! Hand-stretched dough base with Nutella, strawberries, house-made marshmallows, fresh basil leaves and a dusting of cocoa powder.

3. KitKat Chocolatory, CBD

Whether you want to design your own blocks or pick from a handmade selection, the masters of KitKat have got it covered. Don’t forget to try the Ruby chocolate blocks, which aren't available anywhere else in the country. 

4. Lune Croissanterie (Fitzroy) & Koko Black

This pair have joined forces to create the ultimate chocolate croissant. It’s filled with dark chocolate ganache, pistachio marzipan and toasted cacao nib frangipane; all topped with dark chocolate and pistachios.

5. Rustica, CBD

Head to Rustica’s new Melbourne Central location to try their Choc Lamington French Toast. It’s loaded with strawberry jelly and Oreo custard and topped with peanut butter brittle. SOLD!

6. Mörk Chocolate Brew House, North Melbourne

Saturday will be the perfect excuse to finally try Mörk’s Insta famous Campfire Hot Chocolate. It’s a DIY dream which is guaranteed to make you feel warm and fuzzy.

7. Cadbury Dairy Milk pop-up, CBD

Cadbury will be giving away FREE blocks of chocolate at the State Library of Victoria. Make sure to head down there to score a freebie.
