Here Are Some Melbourne Christmas Events For Your Dog

Christmas is a time to spend with your loved ones and that includes your furry family members. There are plenty of ways to celebrate Christmas with your pooch in Melbourne and we’ve listed a few of our favourite events.

1. Christmas Pet Parade – Saturday 9th December

Dress up your pet in his/her best clothes and head to Main Street in Croydon for a day of fun. They’ll be a costume concert and many activities at the event. Santa will also be available for some happy snaps.

2. Big Day Out For Dogs & Canine Christmas Market – Sunday 10th December

Dogs Victoria is throwing an open day where dogs and dog lovers can enjoy activities and lots of cuddles. There will be breeds on display and the opportunity for your talented pup to try some doggy sports. They’ll also be the Canine Christmas Market for all of your shopping before December 25th.

Find the Big Day Out at KCC Park (State Dog Centre) at 655 Western Port Highway, Cranbourne West.

3. The Christmas Doggy Day Out – Saturday 16th December

From 10am-12pm, Go Get Me will throw a jam packed event for your best friend. The schedule includes doggy races, a best dressed contest and a toy testing area!! If you register your pet, you’ll also receive a Christmas goodie bag to take home.

4. Paws Explores Christmas PAWty Adventure – Sunday 17th December

Go on a treasure hunt with your dog to find treats for your best friend. You’ll receive a map to help you figure out clues and make it to the finish line. They’ll be games to play and goodie bags to give away! The event is in a secret location, so get your tickets now here.
