Crude Text Gets Sent During Euthanasia Debate In Parliament

Urban Dictionary describes it as...

We've all done it, but we bet you haven't sent a 'fext' in Parliament before.

Health Minister Jill Hennessy must be feeling a little red faced after dropping the "c-bomb" while describing Deputy Premier James Merlino in a message she then sent to him by mistake.

It's believed Hennessy accidentally sent a text to Merlino that said 'C U Next Tuesday' while Merlino was arguing against Labor's planned euthanasia laws in State Parliament. She did however try to save things with a follow up message that read 'Or Wednesday?'

The debate over the assisted dying legislation continued with a marathon session overnight with MP's pulling an all-nighter at Spring Street.
