A 16-Week-Old Staffy Was Stolen From Her Home & The Owners Are Desperately Searching Facebook: Clint Hammill

Welcoming a puppy into your life is an exciting experience, and the idea of that little one being taken away is heartbreaking. Unfortunately this is the reality for one Mornington Peninsula couple.

In a Facebook post on Sunday, owner Clint Hammill revealed Luna, a 16-week-old Staffy was stolen from their home while they were away. In a Facebook group created for the search, the description reads that the female owner was ‘utterly beside herself’. The group already has over 1,700 members as the community bands together to find this pup.

Hammill describes Luna as black with brindle markings (tiger striped) with white on her chest and back left foot. Flyers have been circulated and Facebook users have been encouraged to share the post as though it was a child.

Dog snatching is a growing problem on the Mornington Peninsula with pitbulls and staffys mostly targeted.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. You can join the Facebook group dedicated to finding Luna here.
