Woman’s Appeal in Roma Court Quashed
Guilty…

A woman found guilty of setting her Yuelba home on fire has had her appeal quashed by a Roma court.
The woman was appealing against her 3 and half-year jail term for setting her house on fire to claim the insurance money.
The 50-year-old Filipino born woman had bought the property for $65,000 and had it insured for $400,000.
Witnesses at the initial trial say that they saw the house being deliberately lit, followed by a mystery man running from the property.
Police later found her Australian documents and some sentimental photos in her car.
