UBER has announced that from December they will operate in our region.
The ridesharing app is launching in fifteen new cities across regional Australia just in time for the festive season.
Almost four million Australians currently use the app regularly and with the addition of regional services another million will be able to access the service.
The company released a statement today saying that in 2018 more than 280,000 people have opened the app looking for rides in the regional cities shortlisted for the rollout.
