State School In Mackay Under Fire For Being Lunchbox Police

A local boy has had part of his lunchbox contents sent back home with him after his school thought it was too unhealthy.

Danyelle Butler's stepson, Rocky, attends Eimeo Road State School who weren't too impressed with his gluten-free Oreo cookie and one sugar-free lollie.

Danyelle has slammed the school, saying her stepson's tuck shop not being supportive of their dietary requirements and said the teachers from the school haven't spoken to her about it before.

Luckily, she's not alone with other parents having the same issues with schools demanding strict lunchbox snacks.
