Seaforth is cracking down on poachers who are ruining the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. It now has the highest non-compliance rate for the entire reef, with over 100 offences recorded.Field Management Assistant Director Andrew Simpson says there's a lot of locals who aren't following the rules.

Local MPs are urging Mackay and Whitsundays locals to pay their respects on Sunday. It's all for the Centenary of Armistice with a number of services being held across the region to pay respects to service men who fought in World War One.
