The FEDERAL Government pledges over fifty million dollars to infrastructure projects benefiting NORTH QUEENSLAND. The projects including links to roads connecting communities and regional towns to ports and airports.

FEDERAL MEMBER for DAWSON GEORGE CHRISTENSEN says funding for NORTH QUEENSLAND shines ahead. The FEDERAL Budget release announcing three point three billion dollars for the Bruce HIGHWAY with CHRISTENSEN believing the majority will come NORTH. Questioning why no specific projects have been announced in the region he says he will hold talks with the MINISTER about where the money will be spent.
