POLICE have reopened a cold case looking into the murder of a woman in AIRLIE BEACH 22 years ago. They’re appealing for information into the homicide of DOROTHY BRITTON.. putting up a 250 thousand dollar reward. Detective Senior Constable Darren Mills says it's important that if anyone knows anything they contact police.

Works are on track to make MACKAY bus stops more accessible. COUNCIL completing construction on two thirds of the 243 bus stop upgrades for compliance with the Federal Disability Standards. Councilor KEVIN CASET saying the new bus stops feature a waiting area for wheelchairs with most covered to provide sun protection.
