Drugs, weapons and ammunition allegedly found in a raid at Finch Hatton. Police executing a search warrant Tuesday at Netherdale. Allegedly finding 2 rifles, a 3-D printed handgun, a replica handgun, 2 silencers, ammo, cannabis and meth. A 34 year old woman and 43 year old man served notice to appear in the Mackay Magistrates Court next month.

Mackay roads fare badly with new stats released by the RACQ. Crash frequency data ranking three of our intersections in the top 20 most deadly in Queensland. According to the data between July 20-14 and June last year there have been 19 serious crashes at these intersections. RACQ Head of Public Policy Rebecca Michael says the stats are a shock for the region.
