The only thing stolen in the heist on the ALEXANDRA STREET Store was an IPad. Police seeking public assistance to find a man describes as Caucasian with a medium build. ONE MILLION dollars is going towards getting more APPRENTICES in the WHITSUNDAYS. The QUEENSLAND GOVERNMENT announcing the extra spend in the region yesterday. Training and Skills Development Minister Shannon Fentiman says the money will be spent mostly on information.

 

The STATE GOVERNMENT also boosts funding to the GREAT BARRIER REEF. Upping their contributions to a record three hundred and thirty million dollars over five years. The funds aiming to boost programs to restore, protect and build the resilience of the Reef. Great Barrier Reef Minister Leeanne Enoch says this is going to make such a difference.
