A royal performance from C-Q Conservatorium alumnus of the year. Lyric tenor Paul Ettore Tabone preparing to perform at the Dawn Service of the U-Ks official ANZAC Day Memorial Service. Singing for Prince Harry and his fiancé Meghan Markle. The 29 year old recently engaged by the Australian High Commission in the U-K  participating in many events at Australia House.

With tomorrow's ANZAC Day commemorations there will be dawn services held across the Mackay region. In Mackay the RSL will host a service at Macalister Street from 4:40am. While in Farleigh the Northern Beaches RSL will gather at the cenotaph on Christoe Street at 5:30. The Walkerston sub-branch holding two early morning services with the first held at O'Sheas Hotel from 4:50am. Before the second gets underway at the Memorial Trees  at the Entrance to Greenmount Homestead at 6:40

In recognition of the By the Left Campaign currently being run, women will lead the march at Mackay's Anzac Day parade. The campaign aims to bring attention to the large number of female veterans in Australia, who often go unrecognised. Sergeant Kelly-Ane Harding says campaigns like these seek to educate the public on the contributions of women to the Defence Force.

Mackay's Farmers Market's will trade later due to tomorrow's ANZAC Day commemorations. In respect of the services the markets which normally start at 7 will open from 9 until 1.

An Australian Professional Rodeo Association event draws record crowds to Gar-get. The Elders Insurance Gar-get Rodeo hosted over the weekend in honour of rodeo identity Noel Head.

Registrations are pouring in for the N-Q Games so don’t miss out. Gymnastics and netball alone having more than 1000 competitors from all over the state locked in. The N-Q Games held next weekend will be Mackay’s opportunity to shine on the sporting stage
