New national funding backs Chaplains in MACKAY schools. The L-N-P announcing ongoing support for the National School Chaplaincy Program. Providing pastoral care services to thousands of students and communities across the country. 17 schools across MACKAY set to benefit from the boost with schools eligible for up to twenty four thousand dollars to employ a school chaplain.

The National Suicide Prevention Trial extended until June 2020. With 12 locations across AUSTRALIA including MACKAY the program provides support services tailored to each community. MACKAY and MOUNT PLEASANT'S HELLOWORLD travel company are confirmed as finalists in the national travel industry awards. Organisers of the ZACH MACH Mackay adventure challenge thank the TEEMBURRA Station. Hosts of the event across the weekend in memory of the student who died in an accident in 20-12. The six kilometre mountain biking course a testament to the character of its many supporters.
