A new engineering report has revealed EXACTLY what mess Cyclone Debbie has caused to Mackay's Breakwater. The area suffered extensive damage to the slope facing the sea. GENERAL MANAGER OF N-Q-B-P ROCHELLE MACDONALD says it's a problem that will take 12 months to fix.

BMD developers have reportedly filed new documents which would see East Point transformed. The land has been left vacant for more than 12 years- since gaining environmental approval for development. Mackay Council will now assess the application and respond to the developers in the new year.

 

After backing down from threats to leave the Coalition over the weekend- Federal Dawson MP George Christensen has also changed his mind over crossing the floor on penalty rates. He chose to not vote on a bill that would reverse the cuts

 

AND....An army of volunteers and a whole lot of paint has transformed the Whitsunday Marine Club. Whisper Bay Volunteer Marine Rescue was just one of two not-for- profit projects Dulux trade sales rep Paula Boucher chose to revive.
