Heavy rain is expected over the next few days, especially along the Mackay / Whitsundays coastline. Mackay & District Weather Updates reports Around the Mackay area, and coastline between about Proserpine and St Lawrence, of rainfall totals up to 150mm. Possibly up to and as high as 450mm for some areas in this zone over the next 5 days.
This means that nearly all locations in this zone should see 150mm, but some places may possibly see extreme falls up to 450mm in this area over the next 5 days.
