A bike and car crash has landed one person in Mackay Hospital. The two collided at the intersection of Golf Links and Mackay Bucasia Roads around 3 yesterday afternoon. A man aged in his 40s suffered leg and arm injuries and he was taken to hospital in a stable condition.

The latest crime stats have been released for Mackay. Since last month there's been a 43 per cent decrease in the amount of drink driving charges across the region. While stealing was the most common offence last month with 145 charges recorded.

George st is encouraging Mackay's year 12 students to look at Tafe as an option. There's free classes available for some school leavers to further their studies. TRAINING SKILLS MINISTER SHANNON FENTIMAN says there's a lot of courses on offer

 

The PIONEER VALLEY CLASSIC CAR CLUB has announced Bale Out a Farmer. The campaign was kicked off with a massive ten thousand dollar donation and they're now looking to add more. Organiser Ian Trewatha is calling on Mackay locals to donate goods to local Farmers.
