The State Government has announced significant reforms of natural resource management, and is now calling for feedback from the Limestone Coast communities.

 

The proposed changes creating a simpler and more accessible system for managing natural resources; and making soil quality, pest plant and animal control and water management major priorities.

 

The proposed reforms also include capping annual land and water levy rises at a rate set by an independent body - or according to the Consumer Price Index (CPI).

Limestone Coast locals are being encouraged to register their place at the upcoming NRM is Changing Forum for Mount Gambier.

 

Locals can register their place - the forum being held at the Main Corner tomorrow, from 2 pm to 5 pm.
