Police have reported the driver of a car, following a fatal crash involving a cyclist south of Mount Gambier.
Emergency crews responded to calls of a crash between a car and a cyclist on the Riddoch Highway yesterday morning.
The cyclist, an 80 year old Mount Gambier man, has died at the scene.
Major Crash have attended, and a 21 year old Mount Gambier man has been reported for aggravated careless driving.
The Riddoch Highway has since been reopened.
The man's death brings the state's road toll up to 16, compared to 15 at the same time last year.
Locals who witnessed the crash but have not yet spoken to Police are being urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
