Police and Emergency Services are investigating a fatal crash in the South East.

 

Officers responded to reports of a two vehicle collision on the Riddoch Highway near Rocky Castle Road at about 3.50 pm on Sunday October 7th.

 

A 73 year old driver has passed away at the scene, the driver of the other car sustaining leg injuries.

 

He has been taken to Mount Gambier Hospital for treatment, a passenger in the second vehicle uninjured.

 

Major Crash Investigators are attending - to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.

 

The Riddoch Highway has since been reopened.
