$23m re-development set for Former Fidlers site

Mt Gambier’s oldest retail site could finally be up and operating again with a $23m dollar plan lodged to see the former Fidlers site re-developed.

The owner of the vacant site launching an application to overhaul the precinct with SA's Development Assessment Commission.

The site had been laying empty since 2013 attracting vandals and squatters. Although the plan and proposal is in very early stages we could soon see the makings of a multimillion dollar retail shopping complex.
