Showcase the True Treasures of Kalgoorlie

Georgia Love Will Be In Kalgoorlie!

Showcase the True Treasures of Kalgoorlie

From The Round Racing Carnival Kalgoorlie:

There are so many amazing local Kalgoorlie people both male and female; who represent our City in sport, art, music, cultural and professional fields.

To our own community, these people shine a light on their roots as Kalgoorlie’s true treasures.
With the new look Round in 2017; we needed to spread our wings and look further afield to engage a national audience and attract visitors from afar.

Our aim was to find someone who had never been to Kalgoorlie before and had national reach to illustrate how great the Kalgoorlie hospitality was over - what locals already know is - an epic event.

Georgia Love is perhaps best known for her role as Channel 10’s Bachelorette. However, Georgia’s accomplished career in media expands much further than this.

Georgia holds a Bachelor of Communications from RMIT University. She was approached to be The Bachelorette by Channel 10 while working as prime-time weekday news anchor for WIN News in Tasmania.

Georgia had been the network’s weekend news anchor and a general news reporter for several years. Prior to this, Georgia spent two years in Launceston as a news reporter after being stationed in Gippsland at Prime 7. Georgia has also had experience working in radio for Hobart’s 7HOFM and has done extensive MC and hosting work for organisations and events including Mothers’ Day Classic, Breast Cancer Network Australia and Barnado’s Mother of the Year.
Georgia is a proud ambassador for the Pancare Foundation; following the tragic passing of her Mother from pancreatic cancer last year.

Georgia’s down-to-earth nature and warm personality which made her the clear choice for the Bacherlorette series, meant she has built a strong social media following due to her confidence, grace and emotional intelligence.
Since finishing The Bachelorette, Georgia has appeared as panellist and guest host on Studio Ten, as well as a guest panellist on The Project for Channel Ten.

Her reach to a national media audience is mammoth and we have confidence that the famous good humor and hospitality of the Kalgoorlie-Boulder community will provide lots of happy memories for Georgia to share.
