Hobart Cup pulls out all the stops with two big Aussie stars performing this weekend

,This years Hobart Cup is tipped to be the best on record.

The Tasmanian Racing Club hasn't held back in 2018, pulling in two big Aussie music stars to WOW crowds to the finish line.

Australian folk-group The Rubens and local star Asta are the star-power package included in this years general admission tickets ($20 pre-sale or $25 at the gate).

A small cost to see two superstars hit the stage across three days at the Hobart Cup Carnival.

The artists will appear on the main stage with Asta also playing an intimate session in the Young Racing Tasmania marquee to belt out her smash hit My Heart is On Fire.

Aside from the race, the events main focus this year is on entertainment and delivery of excellent food and beverage facilities.

The racing kicks off on Friday with a twilight meeting surrounding fillies and mares with the first of eight races scheduled to start kick off from 3.37pm and go through until 7.55pm.

Come Saturday, a Cup Eve cocktail party at Wrest Point Casino is already sold out (sorry to tease!).
