Parliament to receive disaster train travel stories from Euroa every week

Member for Euroa and Deputy Leader of The Nationals Steph Ryan has raised concerns on our local train travel.

Ms Ryan has stated that travellers in the Euroa electorate have had to experience the catastrophic aftermath breakdowns over the Christmas and New Year period.

She has now committed to retelling the personal stories of train travellers who are faced with frequent delays and breakdowns when Parliament sits every week.

“Labor’s city MPs need to understand how bad our train service is,”

- Mr Ryan, Deputy Lead of The Nationals

“These are not one-off or isolated incidents; in recent times they seem to be occurring on an almost daily basis.”

The Federal Nationals and Liberals invested $140 million in the track last year, but The Nationals say the Premier has done nothing to replace the trains of late.

Do you agree? Does more need to be done for our local commuters?
