Leech Family fundraiser on this Saturday in Euroa

The search for a man feared drowned in Lake Eildon continues today.

Authorities are yet to locate 27 year old Aly Hadzic - who fell from the front of a boat at around half past six on Wednesday night.

Police suspect the boat struck him as he vanished in deep water - around 800 metres from the shoreline.

Family members and friends remain at the scene hoping for the best.

Traffic conditions are changing at the entrance of the Shepparton Sports stadium from today.

The Numurkah Road entrance will be shut to traffic from today through to Feb 16 - as contractors work on improving the turning lane.

The Sports Precinct and Stadium can be accessed from Packham Street.

Our local rep basketballers plunge into the finals campaign at the Junior Country Basketball Cup in Albury today.

Hannah Onley's Under 14 Vic Bushrangers side are undefeated in their pool - beating the SA Wombats and Sharks by 3 and 5 points.

Jordan Michel's Under 16 Vic Goldminers also finished first - beating NZ Weka by 120, and Tasmania Tigers by 68.

Jordan Munro's team finished fifth in their division - losing to the SA Wombats by 20, and the SA Sharks by 1.
