A Gold Coast man will appear in court today, accused of mugging two men and stealing their car in Woodridge.

A group of three men allegedly attacked the pair outside a Ewing Road convenience store just before midnight, punching them multiple times before taking off in their car.

The vehicle was then involved in a crash on Toolooma Street.

Police later arrested two men at a home in Logan Central, while a third man was taken to hospital with serious head injuries before officers arrived at the scene.

A 21-year-old Woodridge man and a 20-year-old from Southport have been charged with robbery with violence, common assault, stealing and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

They will face court in Beenleigh today, while the third man remains in a serious condition in hospital.
