Whether you're for or against the proposed route for stage 3A of the Light Rail, you can have your say at a community consultation session on tonight.
The Queensland Government is looking to extend the track along the Gold Coast Highway from Broadbeach down to Burleigh Heads.
Despite talk that residents could lose their homes due to land acquisitions, Transport Minister Mark Bailey knocked that rumour on the head.
"We expect that most of the land required for Light Rail Stage Three to Burleigh is within the road reserve," he said.
"There may be some small portions of land that might be required.
"(But) that's what this business case is about, is looking at that in detail."
The information session is on at the Burleigh Heads Surf Club from 6pm til 8pm tonight.
