Mayor Tom Tate is confident there will be no adverse findings against him over the sale of the Bruce Bishop Car Park in Surfers Paradise.
The Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC) launched a probe into the proposed sell-off of the car park off the Gold Coast Highway earlier this month, amid allegations of corruption and conflicts of interest against councillors.
However the Mayor claimed on Tuesday he had yet to receive an official notification from the Commission.
"I haven't even received a letter from the CCC at all," said Cr Tate.
"So let me say bring it on, let's get it out there and get it over and done with."
