Police ramp up search for missing Logan toddler

The Australian Federal Police believe an 18-month-old girl missing from Logan could still be in the area.

It's believed Aubree Leigh Best was taken by her 33-year-old dad Jordan Leigh Best on December 12.

A recovery order was issued a few days later, allowing Federal and State police to recover Aubree and return her to her mother, Ashleigh Gibson, who's desperate to have her baby returned.

Police have released photos of Aubree and her dad, in the hope that a member of the public will come forward with information on their whereabouts.

It's believed they may still be in Logan or possibly have traveled to family in South Australia.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
