A police officer and paramedic are among three people hospitalised in a Currumbin crash that forced the closure of the M1 on Monday morning.
All three are in a stable condition following the accident.
Crews were called to the scene about 11.30am.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said the paramedic suffered a finger injury and was taken to Pindara Hospital.
The officer's injuries were described by a Queensland Police Service spokesperson as being non-life threatening.
He and the third patient were taken to Gold Coast University Hospital.
