A former Mongols bikie is among two people charged after an allegedly stolen BMW X5 sedan and stolen jet ski were discovered during a raid at Surfers Paradise.
A 28-year-old Surfers Paradise man is due in court today (Wednesday), charged with stealing, two counts of receiving stolen property, one count of the unlawful supply of weapons and one count relating to breach of bail.
A 31-year-old Surfers Paradise woman was also charged.
She will face Southport Magistrates Court on January 25, charged with stealing, two counts of receiving stolen property, one count of enter premises and commit indictable offence.
It's alleged the luxury car was stolen from Hollywell in December, while the jet ski was stolen from Hope Island in April, 2016.
Taskforce Maxima Acting Detective Inspector Russell Jones said the pair was well known to police.
“Once again, we are finding OMCG members and their associates committing serious crime," he said in a media release.
"These people have been arrested on multiple occasions and they need to understand, if they continue to offend they will be targeted.
