The Gold Coast Hinterland is mopping up after Monday night's deluge dumped more than 100 millimeters of rain in some parts.
The heaviest fall was at Upper Springbrook where 136mm fell in the gague, Mount Tamborine picked up 123mm and Lower Springbook 119mm.
Coolangatta was the wettest coastal location with 41mm, Burleigh received 33mm and the Gold Coast Seaway 37mm.
State-wide, the SES received 60 calls for help.
Forecaster Mark Tremorden said more showers were forecast on Tuesday with the slight chance of a storm, but it wouldn't be as wet as Monday.
