Crashes Galore To Mark Start Of Road Safety Week

Road Safety Week hasn't been off to the best of starts on the Gold Coast.

There have been several crashes across the city since Sunday night.

The latest of which was a rollover at the intersection of Discovery Drive and Ashford Road in Helensvale on Monday morning.

It's believed a woman's vehicle flipped around 6.30am, before she crawled out and was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Last night two cars collided at Palm Beach, with one person treated for minor injuries.

That smash happened at the corner of Cypress Terrace and Seventh Avenue around 6pm.

Then two hours later emergency crews were called to another crash involving two cars at Molendinar.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Harper Street and Southport Nerang Road just after 8pm, with one person taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
