A bus driver has been charged with child grooming offences after an alleged incident involving a schoolgirl.
New South Wales police allege the 48-year-old spoke to the 14-year-old on a bus on the Tweed Coast on October 26, making a number of sexually explicit comments.
She managed to get off the bus before Tweed/Byron police were notified.
The Murwillumbah bus driver was eventually arrested and charged with procuring child for unlawful sexual activity and behaving in an offensive manner in/near public place/school.
He was granted conditional bail, and is due to face Tweed Heads Local Court on Monday November 13.
