If you've been wondering how all that renovation work is going at West Gippsland Arts Centre, the news is positive!
Construction is right on schedule after steel girders for the new balcony seating inside the theatre were lifted into place last week.
The steel will be joined to the main structure of the West Gippsland Arts Centre theatre next week before the final pieces of steel are added to the girder after that.
An extra 250 seats will be available in the crowd with the addition of the new balcony, meaning the capacity of the theatre will now be 750.
The whole West Gippsland Arts Centre renovation project is expected to be finished by the middle of this year.
