The Bass Coast Shire Council is inviting us to check out the official opening of the Wonthaggi Union Community Arts Centre.
Between 11am and 1pm tomorrow, the doors will be open, allowing people to tour the facility including back stage before the Wonthaggi Theatrical Group hit the stage for their production of The Boy from Oz.
The 2.2 million dollar work has been funded by the council's renewable program. Improvement work includes a lift added to the second tier of seats, a full revamp of the sound and lighting systems, and brand new seating.
