Up to 200 jobs could be created if the plans for a new 50-acre business park in Korumburra go ahead.

The Korumburra Gardens Business Park would be situated at the western end of the existing industrial estate on Atkins Street in Korumburra and is the brainchild of businessman John Kennedy and his business partner Alistair Jack.

If he can attract an investor, Mr Kennedy hopes to bring in a range of businesses including government departments, manufacturers and university research labs to the business park.

Speaking of new things in Gippsland, which "BIG" icon should we have built here? Hit FM's Nick & Zoe took your calls on it earlier this week. Catch up in the podcast below.
