Gippsland is set to welcome another 150 jobs to the region with the construction of a new aged care facility in Moe that will open in November.
The $20 million facility will include a commercial kitchen, library, cafe, hairdressers and other shops. An additional 55 jobs have been provided for local construction crews during the build.
With funding from the state government, Eastern Victoria MP Harriet Shing told Hit FM News this morning that there'll be lots of opportunities created. "It will mean ongoing work for hairdressers, gardeners, there'll be a commercial kitchen there as well, so people working in a range of different industries will have job opportunities."
