Gippsland Police Targeting Back-Roads To Reduce Number Of Serious Crashes

In an effort to curb the number of serious crashes, our police are patrolling back-roads in the Latrobe Valley and Baw Baw Shire.

During the month of July, Latrobe Valley police and the TAC started an operation which has so far fined 47 drivers for exceeding the speed limit, while 4 drivers have been caught for alleged drug driving.

Meanwhile in the Baw Baw Shire, 50 people have been caught for various traffic offences such as driving using a mobile phone in hand, drug driving and speeding.
