At about 7:00pm on Saturday 6 May 2017, a Holden station sedan was travelling east on the South Coast Highway, Jerdacuttup, approximately 35 kilometres from Ravensthorpe.

The vehicle lost control, veered left off the road, rolled and burst into flames. The vehicle was completely incinerated.
