Two people escaped injury after a non-suspicious fire which destroyed a home in Dubbo yesterday.
Emergency services were called to Chapmans Road, about 2.30pm (Thursday 15 February 2018), and found a house, shed and surrounding land well alight.
The occupants were quickly accounted for after fears were raised people may still be inside the building.
Fire fighters from Fire & Rescue NSW, and Rural Fire Service attended and extinguished the blaze.
The house and shed were destroyed.
Officers from Orana-Mid-Western Police District established a crime scene and commenced investigations into the circumstances surrounding the blaze.
The fire has been deemed to be non-suspicious.
Meantime, firefighters and volunteers also attended a grass fire at Mogriguy.
Crews remain on the scene of both fires to ensure the blazes remain under control.
