Dual raids are being carried out by authorities on the truck company involved in a horror NSW highway crash that killed two brothers, aged nine and 12, and seriously injured their 4 year old sibling.
The boys died after the Queensland family's 4WD collided with a B-double truck on the Newell Highway, north of Dubbo, in the early hours of Saturday.
A third brother, aged 4, was taken in a serious condition in Sydney's Westmead Children's Hospital with internal injuries.
The parents escaped with just minor injuries and were treated for shock, while the male truck driver aged in his early 50's was taken to hospital with back injuries.
Police arrived at the Redstar Transport sites in Yennora in Sydney's west and Dubbo at 6am on Friday for an operation targeting heavy vehicles, with assistance from Roads and Maritime Services.
The crash was so violent, the accident site stretched more than half a kilometre along the highway, with footage showing the white 4WD ripped in two on the side of the road.
