The Rural Fire Service is putting out the call to the Central West to be mindful of the dry and windy conditions with another day of high fire danger for the region. Total fire bans are enforce in surrounding areas, including the Warrumbungle region.
Property owners planning on undertaking burnoffs are urged to ensure they're properly prepared by informing their local fire control centre, as well as their neighbours of their plans to burn.
Bob Conroy Operations Officer with the RFS Orana team says there has been an increase in fires across the region.
