Passenger Dies In Crash At Narromine

A report will be prepared for the Coroner after a fatal crash at Narromine.

About 5.50am today (Sunday 12 November 2017), a Toyota Hilux was travelling west on the Mitchell Highway when, about 8km west of the Sixth Avenue, Narromine, the vehicle left the road and struck a tree.

The passenger, a 29-year-old man from Trangie, died at the scene.

The driver, a 19-year-old man, was taken to Narromine Hospital for mandatory blood and urine tests, then to Dubbo Base Hospital for further medical assessment.

Police from Orana Local Area Command are conducting inquiries into the incident.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
