Dubbo and the Orana region have received a number of positive measures as well as improvements to ongoing projects in the latest NSW Budget.
Handed down by Treasurer Dominic Perrottet, there is a commitment to previously announced projects with $43 million in 2017 and 2018 to continue investments to Dubbo Hospital, at an estimated total cost of $241 million.
Budget papers confirm $9.9 million has been allocated to improve was treatment in Cobar, with $5.5 million for stage 2 of the Cobar to Nyngan twin pipelines.
Trangie is also set to get a share of $65 million in funding for research into winter crop development, infrastructure capacity development and skills, through a partnership with the GRDC.
While unveiling the Budget, Mr. Perrottet revealed the State Government will review budget expenditure to ensure outcomes are met.
