More than 230 new probationary constables are set to join the NSW Police Force today at a ceremony in Goulburn.

Of 'Class 333', which includes 164 policemen and 70 police women, the Orana Mid-Western Police District will receive four new recruits.

Across the regions, the newbies will complete 12 months of on the job training, while continuing their studies by distance education through Charles Sturt University, before being confirmed to the rank of Constable.

They'll get to work from Monday 30th April.
